THE CONCERT „NA POZÓR” in memory of BOGUSŁAW MEC
“Na pozór” concert in memory of Bogusław Mec.
The evening full of music and real emotions – this describes most accurately emotions which accompanies guests and artists during “Na pozór” concert organised in memory of Bogusław Mec, who passed away in 2012.
Invitation from artist’s wife to sing the most beautiful songs from unforgettable artist’s repertoire, accepted artist as: Anna Maria Jopek, Skubas, Marek Dyjak, Reni Jusis, Marek Piekarczyk, Grażyna Łobaszewska and many others.
Recital took place in Klub “Wytwórnia” in Lodz on 3rd June 2013 under musical direction of Wiesław Pieregorólka. Concert was recorded by TVP2 and “Jedynka Polskie Radio”.
Patrons of the recital were: Narodowe Centrum Kultury (National Culture Centre), Urząd Marszałkowski (Lodz Marshal Office and COMPLEX S.A. LIGHTCRAFT KEMYD Foundation for culture and Klub “Wytwórnia” organised the concert.
Bogusław Mec was a Lodz School of Arts graduate. He made his debut with a song “Obłąkany kataryniarz” in 1970, for which he was awarded main prize on Lodz Song Exchange.
He repeatedly performed on stage in Opole winning both main prizes and commendations. The last record was called “Duety”. It was recorded in 2008. While composing “Duety” he invited to co–operate many personages from polish music industry, such as: Justyna Steczkowska, Krzysztof Kiljański, Anna Maria Jopek and others.
